Booking a Conservation Outreach Talk

We have two outreach talks available for you to book:

Colchester Zoo & Action for the Wild History
Our first talk is an introductory one about Colchester Zoo’s history and its modern day role, along with the work of its charitable arm, Action for the Wild, and the support of conservation projects around the world.

Caring for Animals at Colchester Zoo
Our second talk, explains how we care for animals at Colchester Zoo, covering case studies of animal training, enrichment and breeding.

Talks can take place anytime throughout the day and we are more than happy to do evening talks.
Generally our talks last from 45 minutes to 1 hour, with time for questions afterwards.
We bring our own equipment for the powerpoint presentation, however it would be beneficial if you could provide a small table to put the projector on. If you would rather we use your projector screen or a wall to show the presentation on, just let us know.
Talks are priced at £60 plus £10 travel; all cheques can be given after the talk and the £70 should be made payable to ‘Action for the Wild’.
If you are interested in booking a Conservation Outreach Talk then please contact Rebecca Moore (Director of Conservation, Education and Research) to confirm a suitable date.
